Praise forToolkit for Spiritual Growth II: A Practical Guide to Scripture, Confession, and Time
"Just as you cannot build a house without the proper tools, so too you cannot live an overcoming life (John 16:33) without practical guidance. Both of Fr. EvansToolkit for Spiritual Growthbooks serve as practical partners in your journey from glory to glory."-Hank Hanegraaff, President, Christian Research Institute / Author, Host ofThe Bible Answer ManandHank Unplugged
"Readers will benefit from Fr. Evans years of pastoral experience, wisdom, and love. In this book, he offers himself to each person who comes to him and, as he shares about the Scriptures, Confession, and Time as spiritual tools, he communicates something deeper, or rather someone greater: Christ Himself, who cannot be captured in dogmas, debates, and descriptions. This work is not simply an introduction to spiritual tools, but an invitation and encouragement to draw closer to Christ and encounter the fullness of life that can only be found in the embrace of God."-Dr. Philip Mamalakis, Associate Professor Pastoral Care, Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology
"In his first volume ofToolkit for Spiritual Growth, Fr. Evan Armatas showed us the three-legged stool on which our spiritual advancement is anchoredprayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Now in Volume Two, he goes further in showing us the importance of Scripture reading, confession, and living in the present moment of time. These are not abstract concepts but rather practical, day-to-day tools we can actually use on our spiritual journey. Im grateful for the profound simplicity of these words."-John Maddex, Retired Founder and CEO, Ancient Faith Ministries
