Description:

The Beatitudes contain many of the most important teachings of Jesus, emphasizing the responsibilities of the follower of Christ both to God and to others. For centuries, the Beatitudes have been used for basic instruction in Christian faith and living. Here, the authors explore the eight Beatitudes as they relate to followers of Christ in their everyday experience. Following the model of the early commentaries, the authors discuss the basics of the Christian faith while offering practical counsel for Christian living.
